OUT! Caught. Andrew Tye to Sean Abbott. Half volley, driving, Hit Hard in the air uncontrolled to mid off, by Bancroft. Western Australia have won a thrilling Marsh Cup match at Drummoyne Oval by 8 runs. Chasing 244 off 35 overs, NSW got off to a solid start before Henriques and Hughes put the hosts on top with a 142 run partnership that was highlighted by some aggressive play against anything short. Henriques was dismissed just when NSW looked in control and while Hughes continued his brilliant innings, WA regularly took wickets at the other end. Unfortunately for NSW, Hughes was unable to get much of the strike in the last six overs and WA were able to defend 14 off the last over, eventually winning the game by 8 runs. Hughes finished with 112 not out off 96 balls, while Coulter-Nile took 3 wickets.
